The Origin of FundTrack

Fund Tracking Stewardship Services, LLC

Our Story

Fundtrack Solutions didn't start in a boardroom. It started with a client, a spreadsheet, and a question we couldn't fully answer.
Our founder was working as a bookkeeper for nonprofit organizations when she took on a client bringing in over $1 million a year. Like a lot of mission-driven organizations, they operated on a single bank account — but that one account was actually holding roughly 30 different funds. Some were general operating dollars. Some were donor-restricted. Some were tied to specific grants with their own spending rules.
The client's ask was simple: "Tell us what's actually in each fund, so we know our spending matches what we budgeted."
It's the kind of question every nonprofit and church leader needs answered. And at the time, with the tools and processes available, we couldn't give them a confident, reconciled answer.

The Question We Couldn't Answer

The Gap That Stayed With Us

That request didn't go away. It sat in the back of our minds for years.
We kept seeing the same pattern across organizations of every size: money commingled in a handful of bank accounts, funds tracked loosely in spreadsheets (or not tracked at all), and leadership left to guess whether restricted dollars were actually being spent the way donors and grantors intended. The bank statement alone could never answer that — it wasn't built to.
We knew there had to be a better way to give organizations a real, reconciled picture of every fund they were responsible for.

Building the Solution

Eight years after that first client, we finally built it: Fundtrack Solutions.
We developed a process that takes an organization's real bank and financial account activity and turns it into a clear, fund-by-fund report — general, restricted, and grant-designated funds, all reconciled down to the penny. Every beginning balance is verified against the bank. Every transaction is assigned to the right fund. Every judgment call is documented, not buried. And every report ties out to $0.00, so there's no ambiguity about whether the numbers are right.
It's the answer we wish we could have handed that first client eight years ago.

What We Do Today

Today, Fundtrack Solutions works with churches, ministries, and nonprofits who need to know — with confidence — what's really available in every fund they manage. We handle the reconciliation, the documentation, and the reporting, so leadership can spend less time untangling spreadsheets and more time focused on the mission that brought them here in the first place.
Good stewardship starts with clarity. That's what we're here to provide.
